DESCRIPTION: The German Nazi Officer's uniform was designed by Hugo Boss just prior to World War II, and was worn by members of the Nazi party during the early years of the war. As a challenge to create an authentic uniform from World War II, I researched and recreated the costume using the same fabrics and techniques that were used in the 1930s and 1940s. I hope to enter the uniform in a Historical Costume Competition in the future. My recreation of the World War II uniform is not meant as an endorsement or acceptance of the evil that was perpetrated by members of the Nazi party during the war.
